The present.

 Hi guys this is my the present writing that i did I hope you like it. It took me some time to make it what was your favourite part? blog ya later. 

It was a bright day, bright as the sun and Matt was  playing video games when his mum came out the door and said “Matt i have a gift for you'' Matt doesn't notice or hear until his mum say’s  “why don’t you open the present'' Matt open’s the present and see’s a cute puppy but then... He saw that  the puppy only had  3 legs so he threw it and says “come on man” the puppy feels sad but he's still happy and  sees a red ball and ran for it but donks his head but he gets back up and swooshes for  the ball and offers to play ball to Matt .Then Matt chuckles to himself but then realises he is being mean to the dog so he gets up and grabs the ball then opens the door and lets his mum know he's outside playing with the puppy the end.

Hi reviewer's this is my wairaka story retell   it took me some time to get it done I hope you enjoy it what do you think of this? blog ya later.

	The legend of Wairaka
	Wairaka and her tribe  were paddling through the glistening water. Wairaka's tribe found an island So the men went to explore the island. When they got on the beach  they felt the warm sun and heard the birds chirping. They also saw the birds flying as the men were walking around on the warm sand. Then they left the woman and children in the waka.
	Then a humongous storm happened and the women were screaming and the children were crying. She had to make a brave choice while the women and children were screaming. she had to make a brave choice and use the paddle which women can’t hold. There were no men on the boat and women weren't allowed to hold the paddle so Wairaka had to make the choice to grab it. The other problem was there was a storm as loud as a dog’s bark and the boat was going left to right While the storm was happening the women and children were screaming “were all gonna die ahhh”
	Then Wairaka grabbed the waka’s paddle which was forbidden for women to hold. Then she said the words “Kia Whakatane au i ahau” which meant let me act like a man then with one mighty push the waka zoomed back to the island.
	Once they zoomed through the humongous  waves and then got back in a speedy time to the island. The tribe were  feeling exhausted and the women were hugging their husbands and the men were hugging their children and everyone was happy but still shocked.
	Once they got back the men said that it was okay to stay at the island. And they did stay there for many years and if you come to the island you’ll see a statue of Wairaka.
